Since arriving in Riverhead, Rabbi Rascoe has embraced all facets of a religious leader. He leads services, teaches in our Sunday School, conducts bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, funerals, visits the sick, and provides counseling when needed. Additionally, he has become active in the community, reading Torah for minyans at the Hampton Synagogue, serving on both the East End Jewish Council, and the Riverhead Clergy Council, as well as moderator of an Interfaith Bible Group. Rabbi Rascoe has many hobbies. He is an avid reader, enjoys coin collecting, walking, watching movies, and listening to music. He enjoys spending time with his two sons, Avi and Daniel. Avi works at Stony Brook University Hospital as a laboratory assistant, and is a volunteer EMT. Daniel is pursuing a career in music as a drummer. Submitted by Rebecca Hagler
